On Sun, November 3, after the service, we are going to spill out on to the streets, and invite our neighbors to join us for a community soup fest! Our Connections Ministry will be hosting this. Join us for a conversation concerning the morality of Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID). The conversation will be between Dr. James Downar and Dr. Ewan Goligher.

Congregational Meeting and Potluck
Join us on Sunday, Oct 27, immediately following the worship service, for a congregational meeting and potluck.
We will begin our meeting in the theatre at 11:30 AM with a brief presentation about the work that the Lord has been doing among the elders in shaping a new vision for New City. We will then transition down to the gym for a potluck lunch. We will then finish our time with a facilitated conversation in which your elders will be welcoming your feedback and input about the vision of New City. Our goal is to finish everything by 1:45 PM.
Please come ready to share a dish, your thoughts, and your prayers!
Housemoot
Housemoot is a virtual conference curated by the Rabbit Room, a Tennessee based arts collective founded by Andrew Peterson. The New City Arts ministry will be hosting our own mini-conference with their content for New City attendees who are interested in topics such as writing, music and visual arts. The evening will consist of a dinner followed by a video lecture, closing with discussion over desserts. Summer Prayer & Praise Night
Join us on Sunday, August 28 at 6 PM for an outdoor evening of prayer & praise! This is the second of two prayer & praise nights during the summer of 2024 and it will take place at 53 Fieldway Drive.

Film Screening: Perfect Days
New City Arts is delighted to invite you to join us for a film screening of
Perfect Days, a meditative film reflecting on the beauty of everyday life, with conversation to follow.
Directed by German director Wim Wenders, the film “doesn’t paint a rosy picture of a falsely ‘perfect’ world; it models a way of seeing the world that finds joy in the hard, the easy, and everything in between” (Brett McCracken).
The film will start at 6:30 PM and will be followed by a time of discussion facilitated by the New City Arts team.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at the door to offset the licensing cost.
Please note that the film is rated PG for mature audiences.

Summer Prayer & Praise Night

Kids Camp 2024 - Scuba
New City Church is pleased to invite you to an underwater adventure July 8-12! Camp will run from 9 am to 12 pm, Monday to Friday and is for children who have completed junior kindergarten to grade 5.
