Prayer and Praise Night
Everyone is encouraged to join us for a church-wide evening of Prayer and Praise. This gathering will occur in lieu of Intermission Group meetings for the week.
Membership Class
At one of our classes, you will learn the basics of what we believe, what we value, what we envision ourselves to be, as well as the leadership culture at New City.
Orphan Care Lunch
Please join us on February 2, following the service, for a lunch dedicated to a time of learning about fostering, adopting, Safe Families and how we can walk alongside families in our church that have adopted children or a currently fostering. Please RSVP below!
Congregational Meeting
Join us on Sunday, February 9, 2025 after the service for a congregaional meeting to present the church budget for 2025. We will also open up nominations for new elders and give an update on our vision renewal process at the meeting. More information will be shared in the weeks ahead!

Steeltown Concert of Prayer
As a partner church of the Steeltown Pastors Fellowship, we are invited to gather at West Highland Baptist Church (1605 Garth Street) on January 12 at 6 pm for a Concert of Prayer. Please join us to lift up the needs of the church and the city.

On Sun, November 3, after the service, we are going to spill out on to the streets, and invite our neighbors to join us for a community soup fest! Our Connections Ministry will be hosting this. Congregational Meeting and Potluck
Join us on Sunday, Oct 27, immediately following the worship service, for a congregational meeting and potluck.
We will begin our meeting in the theatre at 11:30 AM with a brief presentation about the work that the Lord has been doing among the elders in shaping a new vision for New City. We will then transition down to the gym for a potluck lunch. We will then finish our time with a facilitated conversation in which your elders will be welcoming your feedback and input about the vision of New City. Our goal is to finish everything by 1:45 PM.
Please come ready to share a dish, your thoughts, and your prayers!
Housemoot
Housemoot is a virtual conference curated by the Rabbit Room, a Tennessee based arts collective founded by Andrew Peterson. The New City Arts ministry will be hosting our own mini-conference with their content for New City attendees who are interested in topics such as writing, music and visual arts. The evening will consist of a dinner followed by a video lecture, closing with discussion over desserts.
