RESULTS OF ELECTION: JAN 14, 2024

Dear New City Family & Friends,

Earlier today, January 14, 2024, the congregation of New City held an election to respond to the Pulpit Committee’s nomination of Moses Lee as our new Senior Pastor. Moses was successfully elected, with ninety-four percent (94%) of voters in favor of receiving him as our next Senior Pastor.

The congregation also approved the terms of call as presented by the Session, and appointed the Session to sign the call and to represent the congregation at the next meeting of the Presbytery of Eastern Canada, which is scheduled for February 23, 2024. If the Presbytery approves the call by 3/4 majority, Moses Lee will be installed as the Senior Pastor of New City shortly thereafter, date to be determined.
