1. Pilgrim Year Advent by Steve Bell. Can be listened to as an audio book!
2. Christmas Playlist by Alistair Begg. Short book that examines the songs sung at the very first Christmas.

Recommended Devotionals/Resources:
1. Come, Let Us Adore Him by Paul David Tripp. Almost anything written by Paul Tripp is worth reading. His Advent devotional is no exception; very thoughtful reflections.
2. Jesse Tree Resources. Our family has used a form of the Jesse Tree ornaments many times to celebrate Advent together. We often include a small treat each day to bribe, er, I mean, encourage participation.
Favorite Songs:
1. Come Thou Long Expected Jesus by Wilder Adkins. This is one of my favorite modern renditions of the beloved Advent hymn.
2. Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming by Jess Ray and Langdon. A simple, soulful rendition.
3. Isaiah 9:6-7 by The Corner Room. This is a fun one for the whole family! It goes perfectly with our new Advent sermon series this year.
4. In the Bleak Midwinter by Audrey Assad and Paul Cardall. One of my favorite Advent/Christmas songs, beautifully sung.
